Product Design · ~10 Years · New York

I make powerful, complicated software feel obvious.

Systems thinking and human warmth, brought to the tools people are stuck using all day.

About

Roughly a decade on complex, data-dense products for infrastructure, healthcare, and research. I care about the quiet details: density that reads as calm, motion that explains, systems that hold up under load.

Working notes

Of course there's an AI section. Here's what mine actually does.

Less a manifesto, more a running log. The short version: I write my taste down, a brand OS, a taste profile, the instructions and skills it works from, so the AI and I stay aligned instead of guessing. This page included.

  1. A second brain

Notes, decisions, and half-formed ideas go in; structure comes back out. The log remembers so I don't have to.

  2. A thinking partner

A place to argue an idea into shape: drafts, counter-arguments, second passes. Useful precisely because it pushes back.

  3. An engine for shipping

Coding projects and prototypes I'd never have had the hours to build alone. Lately that's meant learning the whole pipeline: GitHub, Vercel, the unglamorous parts that carry an idea to a live URL.

  4. Design systems it can read

Systems built for a new kind of reader: tokens, naming, and rules structured so AI can consume and extend them, not just people. The same rigor, aimed at the machine.

The constant across all of it: it drafts, it doesn't decide. Taste isn't a prompt. It's a system you hand it.
